Chilling out to a laxed out tempo
Watching a kung fu movie or maybe it's just Kempo
Don't matter as it proves to be a great backdrop
To the sound of the beat of my window hit by raindrops
I crack open a bottle of an ice cold beer
Bowl of chips by my side, another drink is near
The lights are low as I set the dim
There's no way that later on I will be hitting the gym

Not paying attention, things to do when all alone
The next thing I know is two hours have passed
I don't remember when the battery was charged last
I could find better things to do with my time
I could write lyrics instead, come up with a rhyme
but here I am in the dark with this blue light
